- DACA and TPS
- Humanitarian status for immigrants
- ICE, police, detention and deportation
- Finding an immigration lawyer
- Visas for students and visitors
You can find nonprofits that offer free legal help in your area on this page under "Legal Help and Lawyers."
If you are looking for help with a topic that's not on Ohio Legal Help, visit the links below for more information:
- U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). The USCIS website provides detailed information on adoption, family immigration, humanitarian status, I-9s, military service, scams, visiting the U.S. and working in the U.S.
- Advocates for Basic Legal Equality (ABLE). ABLE provides information on your rights when interacting with immigration enforcement and immigration detention. They offer written information in Chinese, French, Kinyarwanda, Somali and Swahili, and written information plus videos in English, Spanish and Arabic.
- American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) Lawyer Search. AILA can help you find an immigration attorney in your area through the online Immigration Lawyer Search (ILS). All lawyers participating in the service are AILA members, are licensed to practice law in a state or territory of the United States, are currently a member in good standing with AILA and their State Bar Association, and keep current by earning a number of Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits throughout the year.
