Debt collector letter: This is not my debt

This Form Assistant gives you a letter that lets debt collectors know that you do not agree that you owe a debt they have contacted you about. Your answers in the Form Assistant will be used to create the letter. If you send this, they are required by law to verify the debt. 

When a debt collector calls or sends mail, get the name of their company and address. Complete this Form Assistant, and print out the letter. Mail it by certified mail to the address they gave you.
